Mistigram: not much more than a hundred years ago, women gained the right to vote in the United States, when the 19th Amendment was signed into law. Now, a woman may be voted President... or, conversely, women may lose their personhood. AdeptApril provided us with that food for thought on Women's #Equality Day by way of this #ANSIart screen.

Nothing in particular happened today. I woke up, and my parents told me they were going away for the day, so that, when I left their place to travel back to mine, they were away and I had to make sure their flat was properly closed up. I did.

I planned to take the bus route that took the shortest, which meant it had the quickest transfer time - only two minutes. I knew the risk that would fall through, but the second bus comes every 15 minutes during peak hour, so eh. And lo and behold, my first bus was late, and my second was early, so I ended up with a wait time of 16 minutes. I got some good reading done.

When I got back to my home town, I was relieved my bicycle was waiting at the bus stop, right where I left it on Friday. I lock it twice on such occasions, just to be sure, but it's always just a bit nerve-racking. I grabbed some food on the way home so I didn't have to worry about dinner tonight.

So you see, even though it was a day of travel, nothing in particular happened today.
