Mistigram: for the recent books-themed MIST0426 artpack collection, AdeptApril drew this #ANSIart interpretation of the cover art to #LeoLionni's 1967 children's book #Frederick.

Mistigram: this #ANSIart screen by AdeptApril is the first file to appear, alphabetically, in the new books-themed MIST0426 artpack, so it is also the first individual work from that collection that we will profile. On request from Zeromous, it is an adaptation of the front cover to #CliffordStoll's 1989 hacker bestseller #TheCuckoosEgg .

Mistigram: for this date last year, AdeptApril, SysOp of Storm BBS, drew this #HerrnhuterAdventsstern or #MoravianStar, a 26-pointed star part of German Christmas festivities. It was included in last year's ADVENT24 #ANSIart #AdventCalendar.

Mistigram: today we share the final image from AdeptApril's ~2020 Storm BBS #ANSIart calendar, a swan for the seventh day of Christmas on December 31st, marking a complete year we have spent posting one of these screens daily.

Mistigram: if the song lyric is to be believed, not only is this #goose a-laying, but there are five more just like it just out of sight. Me, I think the #ANSIart illustrator AdeptApril was perhaps taking some shortcuts here. (Granted, I would too in that situation!)
