Last night I ordered new headphones, because my old ones had given up. This afternoon they had already been delivered.
I ordered them from a Belgian company and I understand that I live in a small country.
But 12-hours-after-ordering delivery seems like a bit much. Surely someone in the chain of possession of my package could have gotten more sleep. Or a day off. Or attendance at their child's violin concert.
It's okay. I can wait.

George Martin makes different mono mixes of "You Can't Do That" to send to the UK and US pressing plants. I've been trying to find out why, but I haven't been able to land upon the exact search terms in my limited time spend doing frivolous sideblogs, so my best guess is that it was so both the US and UK would have a "master" to make their initial pressings and "master copies" from. But that's just a guess.
