'Canes Win ACC Regular Season Championship Last season, the Hurricanes owned a 4-10 conference record and a No. 12 seed in the ACC Tournament. They accepted an invitation to the WNIT and reeled off five straight wins before falling to California in the championship game. This year, Miami finished the regular season with a 26-3 record, 12-2 in the ACC.
