Business as usual...
The Zodiac signs. The fact that the Zodiac signs match actual constellations in the kids' universe. The trolls designed the stars.
The trolls. Their similarity to humans. Their language, their culture, their celebrities. The fact that their leader has human blood - or that we have their leader's blood. It was all integrated into the universe they made.
The myriad references to terraforming. The fact that the kids' quests seemed to be teaching them how to look after planets.
The Ultimate Alchemy - an act of creation so grand, it 'justifies' the destruction of an entire civilization. The heavy-handedness with which the game judges its Players, testing if they're worthy for what truly is the Ultimate Reward.
The implications. The fact that Homestuck might well end with the birth of a new universe, created by the kids. The question of whether all universes are created this way - and, naturally following from that, the question of where the trolls' universe came from.
Questions, questions, questions. I'm still reeling - but, for now, I'll leave things here.
This is Sally Wertsearch, signing off for 2022.
(Holy shit, you guys.)
Compliments
I work on my self-confidence, Form bricks out of clay I dig from the ground, Mix together mortar with lime and ash, And slowly build it up one brick at a time. It is tedious work, But soon I have the foundations of a house And the bricks are piling up. There are more than I remember making. Some have compliments scribbled on their surface. They fit in perfectly with the others. What an impact one comment can make.
