And Dani is out here giggling and smiling with Casey while Jorge looks PISSED. He's jealous but he's not allowed to be jealous. Also height difference is kicking. And their significant colors (Dani's Honda organge/ red and Jorge's yamaha blue) are swapped. #noticing

Let's talk about this panel.

We're seeing a very interesting incarnation of John, here. He looks poised to enter a 'corrupted' area of his session's timeline, which is apparently broken in the same manner as the trolls'.

When we saw this effect in Hivebent, I speculated that it was a sign that the trolls' unwinnable session was to be erased from existence - and the human session is effectively unwinnable, too. Its fate is uncertain.

In other words, I think we're seeing John from right before his session breaks apart, in whatever form that takes. The background looks vaguely like LOHAC, but anything could have happened - this might even be a location that doesn't exist yet. There's a small chance that he's not even in the session anymore.
