Memorable moments series: August 2011 (part 1)
We the Kings, 27th August 2011, Brisbane, Tivoli.
27.08.11
We got up early and went to shop for grocerys before breakfast. Read the second Incognito trade, Bad Influences, during breakfast. I like the art and the designs. The book looks "timeless" and also reads that way. At least to me. Yeah, but i have to admit that it's not that great of a read. Took the Swamp Thing figure to my parents place. They were hosting a small family BBQ and i thought i'd take some photos of the figure in my parents backyard. They worked out ok, i have to experiment a liitle more with movement. My Niece was also there but she was tired and slept for a few hours after lunch. Spent the evening with editing the photos and reading trough my feed reader. With the DC-Classics subscriptions fiasco Mattel is reviewing it's options to grab off money altough. Ad one of the possible options is increasing prices for non-subscribers. Shouldn't prices drop for subscribers? Like with magazines? I'm getting more and more pissed at Toyguru and the Suits he serves. They think their customers don't spent enough money on their toy lines and therefore don't let a chance slip to correct them for their misbehavior. I in turn are reviewing other toy-lines i could throw money at in case Mattel changes it's price policy not only for the DC-Universe line but Masters Of The Universe Classics as well. Managed to stay Doctor Who spoiler free. And i watched the latest Thubdercats episode. It's strange to that i Like the show. I thought it would be a cash grab but besides the cashing in on old concpets it's enjoyable.
