Below the cut is a theory that I had for chapter 285, so spoilers ahead
I FUCKING CALLED IT
My irl friends know that I would not stop talking about how I thought that Bakugou would be the one to get hurt!
Bragging aside, I wish I was wrong
Bakugou has grown as a character throughout the story and to see him like that in the leaks broke me a little.
His character is too important to die, but I have a suspicion that he's gonna be out of commission for a while
My theory for the next arc after the war is this: Whatever happens, Bakugou is in recovery along with the rest of his class. Midoriya, feeling guilty for what happened, goes to America to try and finish mastering OFA (with or without All Might, I'm not sure) Midoriya meets up with the Shields and continues his training.
Meanwhile back in Japan, UA is in shambles. Many families want to pull their kids out of the Hero course and some kids from Class B do end up leaving. Class 1-A, the new vacant spot filled by Shinsou, refuses to leave. They don't know what's really going on, but they swear to keep fighting. They signed up for this, they say, they'll see it through to the end.
TL;DR We get to see some new team ups in Class 1-A, Bakugou goes through a character arc during recovery, Toshinori might explain OFA or he may not, Deku does some soul searching in America and Shinsou gets his rightful spot in the hero course
