Urgent fishblr question:
My 10g decided to leak today. I’ve been wanting to upgrade for a while now, ideally to a 20 long. However, my table looks like this:
From edge to edge its 31 inches but the actual flat part is 29 inches and a 20 long is 30 inches wide. How much of a problem is this? Will that extra half an inch on each side cause a major problem even if theres still table right below it?
Bonus question: I know its better to go wider instead of higher but I noticed the 20 long and the 29g have the same footprint. Is it worth it to get the 29g? Would they use that extra space even though its vertical? Or if I need a smaller footprint to fit my table should I go for the highest gallonage I can or will it matter since it's all height? Stocking is 6 white cloud mountain minnows, a few fry (who are doing surprisingly well and I think may actually make it to adulthood!), and a nerite snail.
Thanks to anyone who looks at this. I trust fishblr way more than I trust the rest of the internet for advice.
