Durante uma filmagem recente para Olive TV "MAPS", ele também revelou que seu coração vibra para as mulheres não-celebridades mais do que celebridades.
Kim Heechul e Simon D vão para a Ilha de Jeju para uma viagem. Conduzindo devagar, Kim Heechul é finalmente capaz de apreciar as belas vistas da ilha e ele comenta: "Quando eu conseguir uma namorada, eu deveria definitivamente vir aqui novamente."
Com isso, Simon D brinca: "Quem sairia com você?", mas Kim Heechul continua: "Eu realmente gostaria de uma namorada. Não basta ter uma amiga próxima, mas eu realmente gostaria de experimentar a coisa chamada "amor"."
Em uma entrevista individual depois ele disse: "Eu ainda sou um ídolo e eu tenho um monte de fãs jovens do sexo feminino, por isso não é fácil para mim dizer que eu gostaria de ter uma namorada na transmissão, mas eu tenho a idade para estar pensando em coisas desse tipo. Mesmo os fãs dizendo que eu encontre uma boa namorada.". Em seguida, ele confessa: "Há também celebridades femininas como Son DamBi ou Taeyeon, mas eu realmente não sinto nervoso em torno de celebridades do sexo feminino. At this, Simon D. jokes, “Who would date you?” but Kim Heechul continues on, “I would really like a girlfriend. Not just having a close female friend but I’d really like to experience the thing called ‘love.’”
In an individual interview afterwards, he says, “I am still an idol and I have a lot of young female fans, so it’s not easy for me to say that I would like a girlfriend on broadcast, but I’m not the age to be thinking about things like that. Even the fans say that they want me to find a good girlfriend.” He then confesses, “There are also female celebrities like Son Dam Bi or Taeyeon, but I don’t really feel nervous around female celebrities. I get nervous around non-celebrity women who I see just walking down the street.”
Meanwhile, “MAPS” is a program that asks celebrities to drive slower than 40 km/h through an area, allowing them to enjoy the scenery that they haven’t been able to appreciate in their busy lives.
