Oh hey! Another system who thought that inside out was a really realistic approximation of what brains are typically like! I don't really have much else to say here other than yay! similar experience!

Inside out didn’t crack our plegg for some reason when we watched it but it did kinda give us a “base” for our headspace not long before syscovery and it made us see the “I’m you but cynical” fictive as a normal thing. We’re not sure what’s in our mind when we watched it but we probably thought “something this literal only exists in fiction, right?” at one point after we watched it, even though we have “imagined” characters in our mind before. Maybe we were under the impression that everyone is like this, but not as literal as what the movie shows?

It largely depends on which branch you want to focus on, if you ask us. We do have some links which might come in handy though!
List of all idols in the franchise (excluding imas.kr). Maybe you want to look through this and see which ones catch your eye, and decide which branch you want to focus on from there, assuming you’re starting from zero knowledge of the series. This site is in Japanese though, we don’t know of any similar site in English.
Project-imas wiki. Generally has a ton of info like song lyrics etc. covering the whole franchise.
For the OG / 765PRO ALLSTARS cast, we recommend playing OFA on the PS3 because it feels beginner-friendly to us compared to something like, say, SP. There’s an English patch of this game available online!
For the other branches, since they have (or had) gacha games, translated stuff can get scattered all over the place. We have a few links on where to start, but for some of these we unfortunately don’t have the spreadsheets that list everything in one place.

✨️-Do any in your system have an accent?
Looking solely at our internal speech, most of us lean towards the "standard" American pronunciations of English words, for lack of a better term. Or at the very least, as close to that as we can manage. So far the most obvious outlier is Lily Knight, who defaults to using British English (but don't ask us which specific British accent, we still struggle to tell the difference and we may have ended up mixing different accents a lot). Since we're not native to any country that has English as its main language, if we want to use a specific accent, we learn manually, usually by listening to people who use those accents.
(we may have also conflated accents with dialects a lot and have just started learning about the differences so if we get things wrong here, that's why)
