I always had a soft spot for smaller 2.5D platformers, but I dont think I ever enjoyed them as much I do now!
These games look super appealing and are really fun to play, makes me want to make a 2.5D @bbchargegame platformer in the future too!

I played some Bubsy 1!! Had a lot of fun! ^-^
They sold GOOD, but big platformers never manage to outsell stuff like GTA, CoD, or other realistic games..
They DIDNT die because cuz they got poor sales, but because they were simply outmatched by OTHER ip.. Now they depend on if company want to make the lesser stuff or not..
But I wouldnt worry TOO much about it, because thanks to Indie, platformers have a MORE SECURE future then EVER before!
Support your Yooka's, Kao's, and Rad Adventure's! They are your BEST bets for a lasting revival!
A Naruto based 2D platformer would be fucking amazing.

I think Yooka Laylee is the first 2D platformer without story stuff that I actually enjoy playing over and over again!
I dont like the impossible lair itself, but all the other stages are great fun! Shame so many people wont give it a shot due their first title..
Playing it again makes me actually a little hopefull again for the next Yooka game!
