Little 2D animated short I made as part of a training internship! It's my first time animating in After Effects or with a 2D rig, and I got inspired by what I love about Cape Town - it's really naturally beautiful while being kind of deeply unserious.

About that 2d advanced assessment I was talking about, here’s the animatic~!! It finally got approved, there’s just a few timing issues that I need to address but otherwise I’m working on production now~ Please give it a watch!!

After over 2 years of working every day on this and dreaming of finally being able to show you my first animated short film, it’s finally here! 100% 2D animation, painted and animated on Clip Studio Paint EX, even the camera movements and rotations. I finished up a 2D short, mostly just to see if I could lol.  Something like this has been in my head for a few years now (no matter how far I can go without working in fast food, my hatred will always burn bright).  It’s called “Sink” and I’m glad to share it!
