planetary allies helping you attain financial sovereignty
planets in our houses are our allies in helping us get what we want out each specific area of life that these planets find themselves in. planets in the second house help us attain financial sovereignty by supplying us with the tools to reject financial dependency on others responsible for our monetary resources.
sun in the 2H/sun as house ruler: sun in the 2nd house is the literal translation of financial sovereignty. wealth is naturally attracted to the individual the more they shine authentically and stay real. when they let the external world dim their light, they sabotage their ability to accumulate funds. in the current state of our society, allowing oneself to build a personal brand through social media that showcases them and what they do is how they can easily gain opportunities—the world has know what they do before they choose to invest into the work. the individual must ask themselves what do they genuinely want to share with the world and take the courageous action that supports that. financial sovereignty is not for the weak and the sun reminds the native of that, but also instills so much strength into the individual so that they can successfully obtain and sustain it.
moon in the 2H/moon as house ruler: financial sovereignty comes through soul work. one could align themselves with work that honors women and children in some way (birth work, women's health, at-home daycare, etc.). since the 2nd house is the house of our gifts passed down from our ancestors (being 11th from the 4th) they naturally carry psychic gifts passed down from their ancestors and could use those gifts to create their own business centered around their gifts, supplying the collective with healing, wisdom, and guidance. their best work is done at home, but their work still needs to be able to reach people on the outside which can easily be done via social media. nervous system regulation to stabilize resources may also serve as a remedy for attracting wealth and resources that stick.
mars in the 2H/mars as house ruler: mars is fueled with the entrepreneurial spirit and drive to take control of finances. this is a placement mirroring the hustler archetype. debilitated (cancer) mars can be driven by greed or the accumulation of money alone with no plans for expansion. individuals here must remember that money is a tool, a medium, and not a sustainable end goal. individuals were born to be self-made but must innerstand that there are no shortcuts to financial freedom. focus and hard work pays off when the energy is being directly channeled into a fertile endeavor. mars blesses these people with the go-getter mentality to overcome financial challenges. the sign mars is in can give you a more detailed idea of where to put this drive towards, but i highly recommend something that sparks passion, ignites a fire in them, and allows independence (i.e. freelancing)
mercury in the 2H/mercury as house ruler: mercury here encourages multiple streams of income. as we are in the digital era, these individuals were born for these times. this is the jack of all trades archetype, so these individuals can make any skill they have lucrative, but preferable information-based skills where you can pass down the knowledge (e-books, workshops, courses, etc.). another way mercury can manifest is by giving the individual the ability to create something with their hands—i think of someone owning an etsy store where they sell their artisan crafts.
jupiter in the 2H/jupiter as house ruler: jupiter's generosity generally blesses the individual by allowing them to acquire material resources with ease and flow. the native could provide spiritual services that allows them to share their wisdom. these individuals are geared towards entrepreneurship already because when the individual owns their own business, then the limitations to how much one can earn becomes limitless. jupiter doesn't like someone else having the ability to put a cap on their earnings. like mercury, these individuals can also create a business out of sharing their information in order to help others increase in skill. something to look for with jupiter here is that it can make individuals more lazy which isn't ideal for maintaining financial freedom. there must be a dance between flow and restriction when accumulating finances.
venus in the 2H/venus as house ruler: venus in the 2nd house says to do what you love (without the need to seek validation from others) and the money will follow. doing what one loves strengthens that heart chakra which turns the individual into a money magnet. what they choose to invest in matters and their first investment must be themselves. if they are not taking care of themselves or their appearance, it is reflected in how much money they are reeling in. these individuals, especially the women, have the ability to attract financially generous people that want to invest into them and spoil them.
saturn in the 2H/saturn as house ruler: the individual may be limited in their skillset, but whatever they do know how to do, they learn to do it well. mastery in a skill is encouraged here with saturn in the 2nd. saturn doesn't make attaining financial sovereignty hard, but like mars, it requires one putting in the work. if you do not have what it takes to be responsible over your financial sovereignty, then saturn will make sure that you collapse until you become unshakeable. these individuals must run a strict program in world full of distractions meant to throw one of their course. feeling stuck in a job is a common battle faced by these people due to poverty mindset which is a huge factor in their earning potential. it is this exact feeling of oppression that gives the individual that internal pressure to do what it takes to get themselves out. step cannot be skipped.
