God, I can't thank you enough for everything you've blessed me with. this past weekend .. was.. AWESOME. i discovered more about my walk with you.. and you allowed me to bond closer to more of the fellow brothers and sisters you've blessed me with at retreat. i honestly can't thank you enough..

and .. like.. so many more things.. but ^ those three things were from the first sermon LOLL but ya. the passage was taking from John 4:1-26 -> the story where Jesus talks to a Samaritan woman by the well.. and it was amazing. (ty JON LEE for coming in to preach!) anyways, the 2nd sermon .. i learned a lot of things.. but one of the few things was about like.. redirecting our desires. as human beings, God gave us desires. although we use those desires to love things of this world, they were given to us to desire GOD and desire righteousness. I knew about it before i heard it.. but still.. it's something that God reminded me of. also,.. other can desire.. there's comfort too. we should like.. never be comfy. God doesn't say "blessed are those who are comfy".. but more like.. "blessed are those who are hungry and thirsty (aka NOT comfy) for righteousness, for they will be filled" ~ matt. 5:6ish.. LOL but ya. it was another great reminder.. and a challenge. it's hard.. but after i thought about it.. WHY IS IT SO HARD?! things of this earth pass away so quickly.. and we will always desire more of things of this world.. we'll never be fully satisfied from these things and they WILL dull in comparison to what God can offer us. 

anyways.. idk if ^ that's right or not.. cause i JUST came back from camp.. and i'm pooped.. and my hair is still wet from the rain up in Ganaraska.. LOL but uhm.. ya.. 

other than learning things on the spiritual level.. God taught me a few other things too.. like. how to play guitar.. and how to play drums.. LOOLL so.. on the guitar, my bro taught me how to play the chords G, D, Em, C .. i know them inside out.. i can do whatever i want with them.. except i fail at strumming LMAO. over the weekend, i found out that i can play like.. almost any song with that chord progression LMAAOO !! (or.. those chords at least) .. aka i can play them ;) MUAHAHAHA ! and yes, i can play them without looking at my hands :) but.. they kinda hurt now.. i practiced a LOT .. and they hurt :( 

[ note: for 2NE1 lovers, i now understand the difficulty and agony dara went through when she was trying to learn the F chord.. LOL ]

but anyways.. for the drums, i learned the basic drum beat hahahah ! it was.. pretttyy sick :) i can now officially jam on the drums, guitar and .. with my vocals ;)
