It kills me inside to be a short (5'1 I am not expected to grow anymore) Agender weakling myself being kin with a Tall strong guy (2p Canada or Matt Hetalia) and it also kills me that no one else agrees with my canon or has a 2ptalia kin if they do... I'm also really scared to come out on my tumblr... Like what if people don't like me?
Well, this is a tricky situation, because people might like you, or people might not like you; it’s all going to depend on the person who finds your blog.
I’ve seen a lot of Hetakin around to start with, and if it makes you feel any better, I’ve been seeing an increase in Nyotalia kin, too.
If you don’t feel alright with coming out on your main blog, you really don’t need to. You could make a ‘Kin sideblog, or not come out at all. You’re not obligated to tell anyone anything about yourself, if you don’t feel right about doing it. For the most part though, I’ve seen that the ‘Kin community around here is pretty laid back when it comes to au-kin and such.
And if it makes you feel better again, it looks like there’s a tag for people who’re kin to 2p characters you can check out, if you want to (2p kin)
Not being like your kintype sucks, I know. But honestly, try and stop worrying about the things you can’t change, because that’s only gonna end up making you feel worst. Instead, focus on what you have in common, or what you can change. Like, you want to get buffer? You could always try working out if it’s an option (or even just doing a few push-ups a day tbh); you want to look more like your kintype? Trying finding a red flannel shirt that’s comfortable to wear; you want to feel more like your kintype? Damn, well you could even go and by a polar bear plushie if you really wanted to!
Honestly, try and remember that there’s nothing wrong with the way you are now, and try not to get caught on this whole thing too much. You were big and tough once, and now you’re a bit shorter and weaker, and that’s fine. Everyone needs a change of pace every once in a while, tbh.
