NEW LIFE!SPARROW - 1st Day on campus

You got this Sparrow, you can do it. He keeps repeating various phrases along those lines in his head as he steps up to the school building. You can't blame him for being nervous, it's his first day on campus. He looked at the student registry and there were a couple names he knew! They probably won't recognize him though- when they knew him everyone thought he was human, that he didn't inherit any of the warden genes. That changed back in 6th grade after moved, when his horns started growing in and his already bad vision significantly worsened. It's part of the reason he has a mechanical eye now, warden genes can't make a camera attached to you less effective after all. Oh void they won't know he's going by his middle name now either- with as much as changed they might not recognize him at all. They're all just going to remember the "Human" Owen. Oh void- ok let's not panic now Sparrow, it'll only make things worse, he just needs to find his dorm and settle in, then he can panic. Oh my void he hasn't even touched the subject of the copper arm- oh what will they think of that? There's so many things that could happen… and he was so excited to see everyone again too! Now he's just worried sick about if he's too different to even be remembered! Alright, alright Sparrow, bud, take a breath, calm down, he needs to find his room, focus on the task of finding the dorm building.

So he does just that, he takes a breath and wanders around until he finds the place he's looking for. He enters the building with a sigh. Ok! Now we look for room 201, can't be that difficult, considering how types of buildings are usually set up he can quickly conclude that it's the first room on the second floor, easy enough. He locates the stairs pretty easily and soon enough he's in his living space for the next while. It's very empty, his roommate obviously not having arrived yet. He spends the next while setting up and decorating his half. Soon enough he's laying down on his newly made bed, too tired to continue his panic from earlier. He can do that after a quick nap he tells himself as he closes his eyes and goes to sleep.

hey everyone. im not sure if any of you will remember me. this is mod chara, which is the last id i went by on this blog. i was the original mod for this blog. i have been as dead as i said i would be all that time ago. i gave up this blog and quit tumblr for a long time. but now im back. it makes me sad how quiet this place has been. i dont blame the new mod. there's a reason i stopped. i dont frequent my main blog anymore, but i do have a new culture blog which i co-run with a good friend of mine (@irl-and-da-culture-is).
