What a way to start the month of June! Last February, you guys might remember I did a blog post about My GoMoto Experience. And this time, my experience just keeps getting greater because the GoMoto fam just sent me these travel goodies from 2The Peak, and organic food from Foodsource PH. Read on to see my review of this goody haul!
First up, is 2The Peak, which offers a wide array of gear for your outdoor adventures.
The Yunteng Monopod (top) has a minimum length of 425cm and can be extended up to 1250 cm! It's really long, it can reach a great panoramic view of the scene. I already tested this baby out when we went to Inflatable Island. The locks safely stayed in place and the cellphone mount, which can be pivoted and adjusted, securely snapped on to my cellphone.
The Telescopic Trekking Pole (bottom) has a minimum length of 64 cm and can be extended up to 135 cm, which is nice because it can be adjusted according to the person's height. It has a spring system so it has a shock-absorbing property. Really excited to try out this one because, FYI I'm really such a klutz (I trip so easily!), but I really love to go on adventures like hiking. So this trekking pole will surely come in handy!
The Travel Pouch comes in different colors and patterns. This one has a white base color with blue hearts and a smiley face pattern. What I like about this pouch is that it's compact and has a lot of pockets! Seriously, I love bags with a lot of pockets! They keep things neat and organized. This pouch is really handy, especially when you're traveling and have a lot of stuff to carry around.
Next is, is Foodsource PH, which is a platform for Filipino food brands to grow from local to global. They strive for "quality and innovation" as it is what they can offer to the rest of the world.
The The Basics All Natural Peanut Butter (Original Muscovado) is definitely a fave. I personally love peanut butter, and to have an organic and healthier version that tastes as delicious as the *ehem* junk food version, is a definite plus!
The Spicy Tinapa In Tomato Sauce Deep Dips By Chef Arnold is a flavorful and easy way of eating pasta. Just top your pasta with a generous amount, and you're good to go! Feel healthier and fuller with this special sauce by Deep Dips.
The Pickled Mango is a simple yet delectable Filipino snack we love to munch on. Usually paired with bagoong, this treat still tastes as good even without the salty pairing.
Skip the potato chips! The Toasted Coconut Chips of Radical Organics and the Banana Chips of Healthy Tropics are really tasty crunchy snacks to munch on when you're watching a movie, taking a break, doing work, or when you're just well, feeling like snacking.
I'm excited to try out these travel gears and finish these organic food! 💚
Nothing beats the summer heat like going to the beach! But going to a beach with a floating playground + a colorful Bali-inspired lounge + cool tropical drinks and yummy snacks?? That's a sure-win recipe for a fun-filled summer outing! 💛
Inflatable Island Ph is the biggest floating playground in Asia! Just 2-3 hours away from Metro Manila, it's located along Subic Bay waters at Purok 6, National Highway, Lower Kalaklan, Olongapo City, Zambales, Philippines (outside the Freeport Zone).
*Landmark: Samba Bluewater Resort
We left Katipunan at around 4 AM and we got there by 7:30 AM (with our 30 minute breakfast stop at an NLEX gas station).
First things first. After getting your tickets (There's a special lane for those who already bought online, which is recommended because they only allow a certain number of guests inside. Better to reserve your tickets online than go all the way there, only to get cut-off because they're fully-booked.), you'd have to get briefed regarding the safety precations and rules inside the vicinity.
Upon entering, you are greeted with a rainbow explosion of colorful bean bags and umbrellas of the Bali Lounge. When we got there, the lounge was still pretty vacant. Be sure to get there early to reserve a spot, and use those precious moments to capture #Instagrammable shots before the lounge gets too crowded.
They have big (100 pesos) and small (50 pesos) lockers for your valuables. After safe-keeping your valuables, the next step would be getting your life jackets. Everyone is required to wear one, even if you know how to swim. (It gets pretty deep after just around 10 meters from the shore.)
Ever since watching Wipeout on TV, I've always imagined, how I'd do if I were a contestant. And now, thanks to Inflatable Island Ph, I've finally satisfied my Wipeout fantasies.
(Spoiler alert: I'd lose the game by round 1! LOL)
There are lots of fun attractions to try! At first, it would be challenging to balance on the slippery inflatables, but as time goes by....you'd still slip and fall. HAHAHA!
But don't worry!! It's really part of the fun! (Plus you have your life jacket on & there are a lot of life guards on duty, assisting the guests).
Special thank you to 2The Peak, for my monopod, which can extend up to 1.3 meters!
After having a fun workout, (or maybe just wanna take a break?) you can go grab refreshing smoothies at the lounge, and also try out their yummy food.
And of course, it might be one of the most over-looked attractions but, don't forget to take #ootds with the colorful container vans! Their bright colors are sure to make your photos pop!
