Got this truck back in August 2019. Had no papers, been sitting for at least 5yrs. I couldn’t say no to the dumb idea of this raspberry truck. It was a king cab, late model and was forgotten to time and given up with a couple hands of owners.  Took me 6 months to get the last registered owners address (was from an estate sale of a deceased person) sent mail to last known owner, they didnt return, 30 days from that, then go get a notary to sign some papers then boom, now its in my name.  I got two trucks at the same time in the event this one didnt pan out.  White truck was parted out and the chassis and suspension live on with Barto, a local who drifts these d21 chassis.  I took my 663k km motor from my white truck with its running gear and put it in this truck.  The motor that was in this had a gnarly timing chain rattle and i figured my motor was better and i had a lot of history with mine that i would swap the motors, in the gravel, with some wood, during a rainy week.  My trucks heart lives on.  It saddened me as i had my white truck for about 15yrs, was my second vehicle and got me all over the place, many trips from bc to WA and OR and to some northern BC cities, never let me down, So i figured the heart should stay with me.  Cleaned the interior a number of times, did some minor repairs to the engine bay and resprayed the bad bits and made the front rad support removable.  Now uses a bunch of OEM parts re purposed, honda PS reservoir, now has PS so i had to mod the intake i made for my non PS old chassis.  Got those blue carpets from Japan when i went in Nov 2019, for a S13 hence the dumb fitment.  Put proper tires on the OZs and now here we are. Stainless brake lines and clutch line, speed bleeders, v6 brakes with a super high km motor.  Going to drive it and break everything back in then look at the suspension and such. My white truck is now moved on, blue truck is for sale, and now raspberry will be my other daily vehicle.  Can’t drive an un modded vehicle now can we.
