We've been at this for 2 years now! This photo just popped up in one of those Facebook Memory things 'hey look at this photo from 2 years ago' . It's the day 'the beast' arrived, and I started making my own art prints. . . I've learned a lot in these 2 years, and gained a lot more confidence. This year I've started making the art that I want to make, and sharing more about the processes I use, and I feel a lot better for it. There was a lot of figuring out what I should be making in the early stages, and let's be honest, probably overthinking things and too much trying to please everyone. . . I'd like to give a huge thank you to everyone who has helped me get to where I am today. Especially my husband for all his support. He wanted me to be an Artist and encouraged me before I even considered trying. . . . @nabsnapsartandhenna took me under her wing on my first ever market (need to do another megga art stall some time!) @saltsswadlincote were the first shop to display my Artwork, and for that I'll always be grateful. @thehoneypottearoom were kind enough to display my Artwork in their lovely tea room @themessyhare were the first art gallery to accept my art work (and only...so far) @michelemcdonald_artist has taken the time to encourage me and give honest feedback on my art at the gallery . My friend @rowenelizabeth_art has been a constant source of inspiration, and is always there to bounce ideas off . .
