4 mile hike this morning and I, somehow, dropped my phone near my car before heading up the trail 🤦 Thankfully it was waiting for me in the dirt when I got back. That was*almost* a bad thing. You'll just have to believe me that the view was gorgeous 😂

Also, I tried the viral Tiktok "Crookie" recipe yesterday. It was a hit with my fam.

Night hike!! Nothing like thinking the moon was gonna be out and bright. . . . and it wasn't 😂 4 miles! The stars were gorgeous 😍

Ernie Bushmiller’s influence on comic books as an art medium is vastly understated.

Much has been made of the "three rocks." Art Spiegelman explains how a drawing of three rocks in a background scene was Ernie’s [Bushmiller] way of showing us there were some rocks in the background. It was always three. Why? Because two rocks wouldn't be "some rocks." Two rocks would be a pair of rocks. And four rocks was unacceptable because four rocks would indicate "some rocks" but it would be one rock more than was necessary to convey the idea of "some rocks."  - Scott McCloud

A chat with Bully, the Little Stuffed Bull about September's Paper Doll Month on his amazing site, Comics Oughta be Fun! led to finding this horrific off-model Nancy paper doll which led to Mike Sterling's infamous Nancy & Sluggo postings and the Three Rocks Gag and then to the Single Greatest Comic Strip Panel Of All Time derived from one of the oddest sequential gags in comic strip history which inspired me to create (birth) a few Nancy 'paper dolls' myself to commemorate them forever.

I confidently call these The Greatest Paper Dolls Ever Made.
