So to get better with my graphics design skills I set out to do some of the 30 Logos challenge between my other work. This was such an amazing, stress free opportunity to improve on my skills. A lot of fun to refine a pipeline to use while creating logos.
THIRTY LOGOS - DAY 9 - PAINT - For Day 9 we needed to do a new logo for Paint. I stuck with the idea of paint spatter with calligraphy reversed out in that paint spatter. The logo can be in 4 color gradient combos or 4 different colors of pink/magenta, bright purple, lime green, or turquoise. For the colors used fun and bright shades for the identity finals.
Rename idea is Matiz which means tint in Spanish

#ThirtyLogos - THIRTY LOGOS - DAY 10 - ANCHOR - clothing brand design. For day 10 we had to design a simple icon design for a clothing brand named Anchor. Anchor wanted the colors not to be blue because it was too obvious. They also didn't mind using an icon plus a word mark. I have designed both together, but they can be separated since the anchor I designed is unique. They did want to use an anchor in some way as their logomark. So I chose gold since I thought it being close to brass that would match a nautical theme well.
The rename idea for anchor would be idlers which is a nickname for those on a boat who were not crew or on watch like crafts people.

Yahoo is off and running with the first of 30 logos that will adorn their homepage as a lead up to the reveal of their new identity.
