Neon Genesis Evangelion is one of those shows that has a lot of things that makes it easy to make fun of, which is exactly what several top mangaka do in this tribute to the franchise. An amusing diversion for people who want to poke fun at their favorite psycho-mecha anime.

30 Second Review: Something Terrible.

Dean Trippe's Something Terrible is a difficult story to read. It is potentially extremely triggering to survivors of childhood sexual abuse. This being said, it's 17 pages were more powerful than most of the books I've ever read. It is worth your time.

Lone Wolf and Cub is a meticulously researched story of a ronin assassin and his child in Edo-period Japan. It is one of the most influential manga to ever reach American shores, and this 700+ page omnibus edition is a perfect way to introduce yourself to or revisit the story.

And now, Dogfish Head's November/December seasonal beer Chicory Stout reviewed in less than 30 seconds! Ben and Drew agree: if you're a fan of stouts and/or coffee, you should definitely check this one out. 

What we recommend: A hearty beer, have this one alongside some turkey leftovers and just ride that food coma.

Pros: With other ingredients like licorice root and St. John's Wort (!) mixed in there, this is a really complex and tasty beer. Drink it :)

Cons: It's on the heavier side, so if stouts ain't up your alley, steal a sip from your drinking buddy.
