This has been one of the greatest festivals I have been to. I mean it. Because it took place in the summer of 2021! (3021 excuse me) Aaaaaand: This MeckPomm-area is my home and this crew is my home now and I am so thankful for that! I had the honor to open the Utopia stage. What a nice picture to see this place empty and then getting crowded to the slowravesound. Enjoy! Thank you to everyone who made this possible! A little story: I also played another set at the ship with my friend Neele Charon: trash at its best just like queens! And if someone asks me: what did you do for the first time this year? The answer is: stagediving without expecting it! To our last track! I saw that Oberst&Buchner were talking to me, their mouths were moving, but I did not understand a word. Seems like I was nodding fully wasted and the next thing I know is I am getting “tossed” up in the air and doing my first stagedive ever  I was screaming, because I was so happy! The collective 3000GRAD from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is certainly known to many, not just because of the 3000GRAD Festival. This is a music film, a homeland film and a road movie. Mecklenburg cows, fishing Latin and wisdom in aprons. A traveling circus, an attitude towards life and a name that connects everything: 3000GRAD. For a year the filmmaker Henri Tonn accompanied the musician Molle alias Mollono.Bass and his colleagues, who settled as an artist collective 3000GRAD on an old farm in rural Wustrow in Mecklenburg. In a family atmosphere, the young people there tried to build a free and independent life together, far from any constraints, in order to be able to develop all their creative energy undisturbed. For this purpose, they have launched the two festivals "Wald, See, 3000GRAD" and "3000GRAD der Wanderzirkus", with which they want to live out their passion for electronic music and the idea of ​​their alternative lifestyle in other regions of Germany and even want to carry across national borders.

Jeder für sich - und gemeinsam um so mehr. Monolink und Acid Pauli lassen Gitarrenakkorde um die körperbetonte Dynamik einer Bassline oszillieren, bis sie jene vollständig überlagern und zur akustischen Begleitung eines bittersüßen Gesangsparts werden. Im nächsten Moment stürzt die Stimme eine Echo-Kaskade hinunter, zerplatzt zu glitzernden Sample-Fraktalen und verschmilzt mit dem rhythmischen Strom von The End. Als schwereloses, sich beständig steigerndes Wechselspiel zwischen gefühlvoller Singer-Songwriter Musik und modernem Club-Sound gestaltet sich auch die cineastische Eingängigkeit von New Morning. Ergänzende Remixes gibt’s natürlich auch. Mollono.Bass konzentriert sich auf die Dancefloor-Aspekte von The End und verschiebt sie noch ein bisschen weiter auf die Zwölf, der Micronaut untersucht New Morning mit seiner typischen Begeisterung fürs Detail und arrangiert den Titel auf gebrochenen Beats. Die Digitalversion kommt außerdem mit einem Dole & Kom Remix, in dem die Jungs kurz vor dem Höhepunkt immer wieder abbremsen... und sich so zu ultimativer Ekstase aufschwingen. Both of them are experts at crafting deep, hypnotic dance music in the highly narrative style of a traditional song. Together they excel themselves. Monolink and Acid Pauli set free a guitar chord, let it oscillate around the powerful surge of an electronic bass line until it eventually fills the entire space and creates the acoustic background for a bitter-sweet vocal part. Then the voice drops down a cascade of echoes, it bursts into sparkling sample fractals and dissolves into the rhythmic flow of The End. The deeply cinematic title New Morning is another effortless interplay between emotional singer-songwriter music and driving club sound, taking a similar approach yet a different direction. Of course there's some remixes, as well. Mollono.Bass puts emphasis on the dance floor aspects of The End and infuses the track with his unmistakable groove. Whereas The Micronaut lives out his love for the details and presents a colorful re-interpretation of New Morning based on broken beat structures. The digital version includes an additional remix by Dole & Kom. The boys step on the break each time the track approaches its climax... just it floor it even more, departing towards blissful ecstasy.
