PACIFIC OCEAN (September 17, 2020) -- Two F-35C Lightning II stealth fighter jets start their engines on the flight deck of United States Navy nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70)....as they prepare to launch for routine carrier flight training operations.

An F-35C Lightning II fighter jet does a slow fly-by above USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70)....(Likely a periodic training/qualifications/safety requirement, considering this aircraft is still relatively new to at-sea operations....especially on a forward-deployed basis.)
