Day Twenty-Six; Was any research involved in your NaNo prep?

I was already current with Rookie Blue episodes (unfortunately I'm still in S2 of Rizzoli & Isles and had to put that on hold) and I watched episodes of Summer Break to get into the teen-summer vibe.

Jane Rizzoli, Maura Isles, Barry Frost, Frankie Rizzoli, Sam Swarek, Oliver Shaw, Jerry Barber, Traci Nash, Andy McNally, Dov Epstein, Chris Diaz, Gail Peck, Chloe Price, & Marlo Cruz.

I did not choose them. They choose me. ;P

Day Twenty-Four; Is religion featured in your novel at all?

Nope.

Day Twenty-Three; Do animals play any part in your story? If so, how do they add to it?

This is one the only NaNovel of mine that does not feature an animal (thus far. who knows, some dolphins might show up). Chris' dog gets a mention.

Day Twenty-Two; What happened to your previous years' NaNo novel efforts? Still in the revision process/querying publishers/scrapped it immediately/etc.

One is complete. One will possibly be finished in the distant future. One will remain unfinished. And I plan on finishing the other two and looking into publishing/making into a movie.

Day Twenty; If you could meet one fictional character from any book you’ve ever read, who would it be, and why?

I'm sure I have a good answer for this, but no one is coming to mind right now. Maybe I'll return to this question when I think of someone.

Day Nineteen; Which authors or books have inspired your own writing the most, and why?

I'm horrible at answering this type of question. Honestly, I get inspired by everything I read. My whole life inspired my writing in general, but if we're talking about this NaNovel...

#breakers was inspired by amazing fanfiction writers. I would not have even considered writing this novel if not for the inspiration and beautiful words of lowriseflare, threeguesses, and colormetheworld. I don't know their real names.I don't know them personally. But their writing made me take a step of faith and decide to write this book. And I could never thank them enough.
