30 Days of Intention - Day 23

Be validated, By God. Every time he gives me a breath.

I am happy to be here and live another day. That is the truth. Because if I was to get run over by a truck and get to look down at my body, I would feel like a fool for all the people I was waiting on to like me. I would slap my bodyless soul upside its head and wonder why I had spent so much time being obsessed by the people who didn’t like me or who didn’t notice me at all. 

Life is too short for a whole bunch of folks who don’t matter. Giving in to what God has created me for is the best way to guarantee my success in life. If God already intended for me to do it when he implanted me into my mother’s womb, then there is no one who can stop me as long as I follow His blueprint.

30 Days of Intention - Day 22

Tell the truth.

Today I had to just stop in my tracks and admit that I needed help. I needed help and consideration. I was facing a situation and I had really tried every thing that I possibly could to settle it. I had tried my very best and just couldn’t make it work. I had to step back and just let it go. I had to put it into the hands of God and let Him handle it. It was something beyond my human strength and abilities. I couldn’t do it. I just couldn’t do it.

And that was OK. That was perfectly fine. That doesn’t mean that the world had to end. Things to have to stop going on. I could still make it through this.

30 Days of Intention - Day 18

Receive your reward.

Sometimes we need to be ok with receiving good things that come to us. Especially when they come as a result of something good that we have done.

Sometimes when good things happen to me I tend to think of 101 reasons why I don’t really deserve it. I fail to acknowledge something good that I have done to bring that positive outcome my way. I am not all that good, am I? That is the question that I tend to ask myself. But acknowledging something good that has happened as a result of something good that I have done, not only helps my self esteem, but also increases the likelihood that I will continue my positive actions. It gives me hope on humanity again. It also makes me feel OK to enjoy the good things in life. Sometimes we just need to sit back and enjoy the good moments in life.

I am just sitting back and enjoying the last few good days that I have had.

I deserve it. And some more too.

30 Days of Intention - Day 8

Picking myself back up again. Like the Bible app, I had to reset my days. I lost focus and am now picking back up the pieces and continuing on. 

This is Day 8.

I had a moment where I wanted to feel defeated and give in to those feelings. They were starting to take over me and I was allowing my identity to match a position of defeat rather than pursuing victory. But I had to remind myself that my outcome was no longer dependent upon myself or even others, but on my destiny - something that was determined the day that I was formed in my mother’s womb.

So today it was my intention to remind myself of Who was ultimately in control of my outcome. 

I am not in control. Therefore, I am not defeated.
