30 Day OTP Challenge Day 5 - Wearing Each Other's Clothes
Pairing: Jack Barakat/Alex Gaskarth
Rian's not quite sure how they didn't notice but in hindsight, it was pretty obvious that Jack and Alex at some point did start a non platonic relationship.
As questionable as it is in hindsight, it was still, however, very very surprising when twitter basically exploded with the "#JalexIsReal" hashtag the day after a big concert. At the time, it was pretty confusing since neither Jack nor Alex had done anything suggestive to each other, It was pretty mellow on the Jalex front if he was being honest.
Rian would've just laughed it off but he was being tweeted by thousands of teenagers with the same picture of the concert last night, albeit different angles. Mostly featuring a full-body pic of Jack and Alex with another pic of them at some other interview or concert.
Rian raised his eyebrow at what was so important about this particular concert when-
"How the hell did you two accidentally forget that you had to be careful with this shit?"
The shrill shriek of their tour manager echoed through the bus and Rian peeked out of his bunk as Zack walked out the back lounge to check out what was going on.
Both Jack and Alex shrugged sheepishly before breaking out in identical smirks, "Well, it's not like it's gonna hurt our fanbase all that much, and if it does they can go fuck themselves."
"Yo, what's happening with our fans?" Rian asks nonchalantly as he gets up from his bunk.
They all give him a look, "Haven't you been on twitter?"
"Yeah, that's why I'm asking, twitter exploded."
Jack and Alex grin at Rian while Matt rolls his eyes, "Just look at the pics."
Rian finally clicks on one of the feeds and he lets out an understanding, "Ooooh... So you guys are...?"
"Yep."
"And this is because...?"
"Probably what you're thinking."
"Okay, gross." Rian says, wrinkling his nose, "Whatever congrats you nerds."
Rian goes into the back lounge wondering why he didn't notice earlier, especially in the concert. He just shrugs and tweets "#JalexIsReal" before settling into the movie Zack's playing as twitter devours his tweet along with the multiple images of Jack in Alex's star-spangled pants and Alex in Jack's BONER shirt.
