day 11 | sat, june 16, 2018 (but not really)
note: just because i haven’t been keeping up with the Q’s doesn’t mean i’m giving in in any way! i’ve been following my routine and staying on track, just got distracted bc i bought a new vape and was too invested in tracking it daily instead of keeping up with this daily lol
Q. you favorite thinspo blog and why
A. for some reason i keep seeing @rexiebones popping up on my dash and i don’t know why but she’s the only one who really sticks out to me. i can’t explain it, maybe it’s the fact that we both have similar starting weights, similar “aesthetics”, who knows. either way, good stuff. i don’t know her at all but i hope she’s doing well. <3
30 day thinspo challenge day 7 - do your parents know you are trying to lose weight? do they care? i think my dad is thinking im maintaining my weight, and if he knows, he doesnt care i think my mom knows, is onto me and she definitely cares, shes still letting me lose it i suppose, shes keeping quiet. im not sure for my mom though, she never says whats on her mind.
30 Days Tennis Challenge || Day 6: └ Your most memorable match: 2012 Wimbledon Final
“This match was historic on many fronts as it saw Federer win a record-shattering seventeenth major title and a record-tying seventh Wimbledon championship. The victory was also historic as it caused Federer to depose Novak Djokovic as World No. 1 and break Sampras' record of 286 weeks at the summit of men's tennis. Additionally, Murray became the first British man to reach the final of Wimbledon since 1938, and was seeking to be the first British Wimbledon champion since 1936.”
30 Days Tennis Challenge || Day 7: └ First player you became a fan of: Roger Federer
“He's a real person. He's not an enigma. Off the court he's not trying to be somebody. If you met him at McDonald's and you didn't know who he was, you would have no idea that he's one of the best athletes in the world.” – Andy Roddick
30 Days Tennis Challenge || Day 10: └ Favorite retired women’s player: Suzanne Lenglen
“She felt about a love set as a painter does about his masterpiece; each ace serve was a form of brushwork to her, and her fantastically accurate shot-placing was certainly a study in composition. ” – Janet Flanner
30 Days Tennis Challenge || Day 3: └ Favorite doubles team: Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut
“We are good friends. We play together, so we stay together. Even if sometimes we're going to lose some matches, we know at the end of the year, we are going to win more than we're going to lose. Sometimes doubles players, once they lose one, two, three matches, then they want to split. Because we like each other, we like to spend time together, we like to spend time on the court and off the court, this is something we don't even think about changing. ” – Nicolas Mahut
30 Days Tennis Challenge || Day 9: └ Favorite retired men’s player: Bill Tilden
“[T]he greatest tennis player the world has seen... William Tatem Tilden 2nd was his name. He was the autocrat of the courts as no other player has been since, an absolute monarch in a period when American tennis was at it most resplendent and great players were developed in many lands. He was not only the supreme, the most complete player of all time; he was also one of the most colorful and controversial figures the world of sports has known... He was the master of his time and for all time.” – Allison Danzig, New York Times Sportswriter,
