Chain

He hid his chain deep into the chasm of his pant pocket, protecting it from harm. He even went as far as to place his hand inside his pocket, gripping the chain so tightly that it's rotting shell clung to his hand long after he had released it.

One day, he met a gal that finally made him unveil the chain once again. He reached inside his pocket and grabbed it, gripping it more firmly than ever. It landed on the floor with a hollow rattle. The boy was completely bewildered. The gal then slammed her heel against it, grinding it's rotten corpse onto the concrete.
