#31Cryptids day 2: Beast at Bray Road On the left, my first attempt, without looking up anything about this beast. On the right, the slightly more informed attempt.
Inktober 5-Elwetritch
Today’s prompt was elwetritsch. It’s this magic bird thingy with antlers. It made me think of Kevin from up, so I drew them in that kind of style.

My Black Shuck for inktober 3. A tad late but done none the less. Maybe inspired by google images.
Inktober 4 and 5 - jumping around with styles a bit more this year: elwetritcsh and chupacabra
Days 2&3 of mini cryptid inktober - beast of Bray Road and Black Shuck
Inktober day 13! The Van Meter Visitor! This is actually one of my favorites? it’s not particularly well known, but the story is so compelling to me! This pterodactyl-like creature with a horn that glowed red was seen by SO MANY people in 1903 in Van Meter Iowa - and reliable and well respected people too. people too. Doctors and business men! A group of people essentially chased two of them into an abandoned mine and closed it up - and as far as I know it hasn’t been reopened since.
Anyway I played with color today and it was a mixed success. I should have waited for it to dry better before i did it - but now there are two versions - the original (second) and the edited one (first one) that I like a bit better.
