I mean, it wasn't an original title considering the genre, but if it involved Grissom dipping out after the Strip Strangler, leaving behind a pregnant Sara and getting dragged back in 17 years later in teen me's guilty pleasure of the "surprise you have a kid!" trope, that was definitely me. Rosalind Sidle was a morgue intern? IIRC? It was 2007. I probably over described outfits. I still have an ff.net account! The same one, just purged and with a new name. (Same as my AO3.) I abandoned it again in 2015 though.

I knew you were coming from a specific place and I get that bc I’ve wanted help for my mental illness since I was 15 and every time I brought it up for years my parents would go “what, do you want to go on meds?” as if it was a bad thing & kind of scared me out of trying to get on meds for years. and now I’m on a couple meds that help but. yeah there’s also this other dark side of med culture.

While I don’t think there’s any substitute for the unique experience of reading/watching Naruto, inevitably developing an obsession with one/two/a small handful of characters, and then suffering your way through all the unrelated content, this might actually be a decent jumping-off point

Also I’m p sure I get Itachi almost every time I take one of those things which is bad and incorrect but to be fair, everyone forgets (possibly deliberately) that my mans exists
