Big day of solo travel for Sarah today.
Walked from the hostel to Kings Cross underground, got the tube to Tottenham Hale. Transferred onto the national rail service to Stansted Airport. Waited at the airport next to some really cute guy for about an hour.
I was finally able to check my bag in, then went straight through customs. Had lunch at the airport, which was crazy expensive but really good. I had to wait for my gate number, admittedly I got the airport way too early. But I would rather be early than late and I always overcompensate for that. Always.
Once the gate number was finally up, go the little monorail thing there - it was like 1km away and not actually in the same building as everything else. Waited at my gate some more, today was a big day of waiting. Got on the plane, found my seat, flew into Munich. I got through passport control really quickly, benefits of being a UK citizen, and found the trains easily.
Made it to the Hauptbahnhof about 40 minutes later and walked to Wombats.
I was so happy to be back in Munich, I was home. Went out in search of food, ended up just getting a pizza - how cultured of me. Went to bed as soon I was back in the hostel.
