Massive #tbt: On this day 10 years ago, and independent documentary called "Just For Kicks" premiered at Tribeca Film Festival. The film, written and directed by Thibaut de Longeville, was the first documentary dedicated to sneaker culture, and has been held as a cult classic ever since.

#waybackwednesday in 2008, Nike celebrated the 25th anniversary of its best selling sneaker: the Air Force 1. Not only a track and a video with rap music heavyweights Rakim, Nas, KRS-One, Kanye West and legendary beatmaker DJ Premier were made (watch video dir. by Thibaut de Longeville above) but it also led to a documentary on the iconic shoe which premiered in 2010.

Thibaut de Longeville and 360 Creative have significantly contributed to "Nas: Time Is Illmatic", the documentary dedicated to Nas' 1994 debut album "Illmatic", regarded by many as the greatest Hip-Hop album of all-time. Thibaut provided eye-catching cinematography for the film, and our camera crews captured essential footage of Nas performing which are used throughout the film as well as the film's trailer.
The film premiered at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival this spring with critical acclaim, and is being released in theaters today October 2nd in cinemas in NY, LA and in 40 theatres across The U.S. Check out Tribecafilm.com/nas For more info.
