Dear friends, especially those based in Baguio, PBBY is organizing a series of workshops for children’s book lovers, enthusiasts, parents, librarians and teachers, and professionals working with and among children. See the e-poster below. My workshop is especially designed for librarians working and conducting readers services and reader advisory programs for kids and teens. If you are a school librarian or a children’s services librarian in the public library system, I will be pleased to have you in my workshop. We can learn from each other! I have a suggestion to make, though. I hope you won’t mind. Since my workshop is in the afternoon of July 20, I recommend that you attend either Teacher Dina Ocampo’s talk on the value of stories and/or Rey Bufi’s workshop on storytelling in the morning. Either sessions are good context for my workshop on managing information services for young people. Their sessions can complement the learning you will takeaway from my workshop. Making connections is one aspect of learning new things. I guarantee that you will. Send an email to [email protected] for registration and other queries.
