We lost Mae Astrid Tobias to lupus in 2009. Ten years after, we still remember her with fondness. Remembering @authordiannedlc as the year draws to a close. It was in 2009 when we started work on our first and last book. Dianne passed on in 2017 in the midst of our preparation for Picture Book Month 2017. She wasn’t only my co-author. She was my friend, mentor and confidant. She believed in me and so, I was able to write. Sometimes, that’s all it takes. A friend who loves you like family. Dianne, you are my Big Sister! I know you’re sparkling in heaven in full glory.
