Planning this fish fry as a family reunion ended up providing a nice nudge for Cherry to bust out their camera — and finally max Photography in the process!

I guess this technically unlocks the Fashion Photographer freelance career but uhhhh I don't see that coming into play anytime soon. 😅

What was maybe a little less predictable is that Alicia seems to have hit it off with Alyss, the only other teen in a god-knows-how-far radius.

Like, really hit it off.

I shouldn't even be including this because I only saw it when I temporarily added Alicia to Cherry's household for control freak reasons (it's so much easier to change poses with sims in your active household okay? 😤) but the scream I scrumpt.

Do we think Cherry clocked it?

Here at the end of our 20th (!!!) rotation, with the Wilds and New Promise united and the future looking bright, feels like as good a place as any to close out the first part of this adventure.

I'll be taking a short summer break from Rebuild A City. We'll pick back up again in Evergreen Harbor with the start of Part 2 after a bit of a time skip, a couple more years into our hopepunk future... 👀

(Just to be clear — there will be no cheating up skills, unlock requirements, etc. This is just a shift to make what I envision for this project achievable and keep the timeline sustainable. I love rebuilding the world with you all rotation by rotation, but at this point need to be able to step forward to the next phase with certain things in one big lift. And I love my long ass realistic lifespans but I think we're ready to see the next stage of life for a sim or two.)

Time alone together is fun and all (and Alicia sure seems excited) but after spending the afternoon with their community Cherry has that heavy feeling of guilt again.
