A shoe that repairs itself overnight? London-based designer SHAMEES ADEN is developing a new running shoe that is 3D printed and made from synthetic biological materials, enabling the shoe to repair on its own. With the sensation of a barefoot running shoe, the shoe is constructed to the exact size of your foot–meaning it would act like a second skin–and responds to the pressures of running on your feet with some as added padding when needed.You should be able to go for a jog in these by 2050… -
