Just got reminded that I haven't posted my tech anim final! It is slightly kinda completely Bioshock inspired but I was not allowed to use a 1920 aesthetic so I kinda hopped around with a mesh of 50s/70s amalgamation of aesthetics.
This was definitely experience and a nightmarish quarter . There is a lot I wish I could rework but given only 10 weeks and starting out as kind of a noob at maya I'm proud of what I was able to do. But it definitely helped me learn and manage a better work flow for modelling and I'm proud of what i could accomplish!

After taking pictures of cherry blossom plants in the part a few weeks ago I was finally able to build the branches out and place some beautiful flowers on the ends, making some designs for the branches.
Once the branches were complete, I duplicated each one and redesigned the flower arrangement along the branches so I could have a few setups for the branches which I can then mix and match to make the trees perfect and each one have it's original design.
The next step is placing the branches on the individual trees to make full tree designs, once that is finished I can move on to my next tasks.
