Happy 40th anniversary to my favorite video game franchise of all time! I actually didn’t know that Zelda 1 was released on February 21, 1986 when I started this 3d pen project about a month ago. I had a few setbacks (ran out of filament, bought the wrong kind, had to get more of the correct kind and redo all the work I’d done with the wrong kind, had some health issues pop up…) so this took longer than I think it would have otherwise, but I finally finished Ocarina of Time Link on Tuesday! I painted him with Warpaints mini figure paints, which I’m not used to, but I like the way it came out. His face is not perfect, but it was really hard to get his left eye right because it’s so tiny and his plastic bangs were in the way. I’m really happy with the painting on the scabbard and shield.
