Wood PLA is so hard to work with so I'm thrilled that I've even gotten this far.
ABS plastic is a good, strong material for 3D printing. It can be made to handle high impact and relatively high temperatures.
It also is very reactive to certain chemicals. Just put a piece in a bucket of acetone (which you can use acetone nail polish for) and it will dissolve into nothing.
Might have a hack for the MP Voxel and Flash Forge Adventure 3/4 models.
Those models of 3D printer have similar proprietary components. The nozzles are easy to replace but are expensive and have limited options for nozzle size. I do not want to shell out 50 bucks for a .6mm nozzle when most printers have nozzles that can be unscrewed and interchanged with mostly standardized parts.
This is just my theory but I think it might be possible to machine away some of the plastic casing to expose the metal nozzle. If that nozzle is a standard nozzle, once exposed it should just unscrew and be easily replaceable. This would save many 3D printer enthusiasts money and time and add room for customization that currently isn't there. Wish me luck. I will hopefully know more about this sometime this week.
If you can't repair it, do you really own it? I don't believe so. Let's change that.
