Hey BJDers,

I’ve hovered around you lot for a while now, and absolutely adore the beautiful BJD’s you make. So I would like to introduce one of my own.

Meet Caitlin, my 3D printed BJD who I haven't yet printed, and when I do, she will be my first BJD. She was made on a program called blender and still needs a lot of work, as you can probably see from the line down her throat and odd bumps on her poor head, not to mention the funny clipping with the ears.

She currently is scaled to stand at nearly 20cm, though that can be changed with a simple yet annoyingly complex method that includes grabbing an object, scaling it to the new size, then scaling her to match.

I’m a little worried about uploading a full body turnaround as there are some more realistic elements to her, though I have covered them as best I could. But other than that, she has two sets of feet, one being a high heel set and another being flat foot. I am also working on a few mystical elements to add to her, like a head with maleficent inspired horns and sharper nails, I may even give her a fantastical set of wings.

but I would be over the moon in joy if even a few of you could offer some tips and tricks for when you create your own lovely dolls, even though I know many, if not most are resin cast from clay. and i know your all going through an annoyingly infuriating time with recasters and the works, but it takes a lot to be passionate about something to the extend of making it a business, even on the side, so stay strong and don't back down.
