I have to upload this one right away, I can't wait. Anyone who knows me knows how obsessed I am with everything related to the Malazan world and "Book of the Fallen" for me is THE song. I discovered the band randomly on the web and, by listening to them, I started reading the main ten (which are the only books translated in Italian right now... I wish some publishers will do the other ones). 15-minutes-song that goes by in a second, each and every time, both when I listen to it and when I play it. And plus, studying this song while I was reading "Bonehunters" and "Reaper's Gale" was amazing, it's the perfect soundtrack. I still hope they'll write new stuff but I'm also waiting for the new Visigoth album which will surely have some Malazan-inspired lyrics. Getting more into my version of the song: I made it my way, some parts are different than the original bassline, and in some points, the bass is not even played; I also played some vocal lines and keyboard and guitar parts. As I wrote above, I love this song so much that I wanted to play it as I like it. I hereby declare that I do not own the rights to this music/song. All rights belong to the owner.
