Tbh I find recruit fic where someone really commits to exploring the recruit character's POV very interesting, no matter who the character is and into which House. My only stipulation is that the author allows the House members and their dynamic to be flawed, instead of being the perfect found family which is so much better than the recruit's original House. The dynamics of each House from an outsider POV is genuinely interesting, even if the outsider will eventually assimilate in some fashion. At least if the fic is longer.

Dannrose has two fanfics, one centered around Raphael and another in which Raphael has a lot of screentime!

These are, respectively, Teachings of a Hero and Dragon Rider of Fodlan!

Walking After You by YoboD, I have never seen a fic get characters so consistently right while exploring them in depth including in ways you don't often see. The characters you'll see mainly are Leonie, Sylvain, Ashe, Mercedes, Marianne, Lysithea, Edelgard and the Black Eagles.

The Oyster Affair by CloudbustingCat is another one I already mentioned. It's a bit of a special case since it's a modern AU, but it's honestly so well done I found it better at exploring the character than a lot of fic I've read. It focus mainly on Dimitri and Edelgard, but you also get strong moments with Felix, Sylvain and Ingrid

ngl if i had to energy to write more feth fics (i'm still fixated on a manga), i'd write the fuck out of mpreg feth fics. and i'm a transguy, so you gotta listen to me (joking)

i'd give children to so many ships, it would be glorious

I like when fic writers make Kronya the butt of the joke. We need some comedic relief, and she already looks like a goth clown.
