@3moreseasons | SPIRALEFES: A NOVEL IDEA
This new adventure had been very out-of-line with Caine's recent offerings in...just about every way since Ragatha had gotten here. NPCs were even more absurdly eclectic than usual, it felt as if whole days and even weeks were going by since they'd first entered, and the overall threat of danger or dark goings-on was much less significant than it had been. In fact, she found there was plenty of time to just go around and enjoy the activities of the festival that seemed to be celebrated in every branch of the city and beyond.
Things weren't bad by any stretch- really, this was probably the most fun she'd had at all since arriving at the circus! Not having the others around made it all feel...lonely, though. Sure, there were plenty of others around, but they wouldn't remember her once all was said and done. Spending time with them didn't feel as real as it was with the others...even though the ones around here definitely skirted the line of what felt "real" to her.
Well, it wasn't that big a deal. Still, she needed a bit of a break from the hustle and bustle she'd been partaking in- something quiet to give her a bit more time to mull, or at least get, over her feelings- and the library was sure to provide just that. She'd heard something about a storyteller who'd be here, sharing tales about other worlds in a cozy corner. That'd probably be fun to sit down and get absorbed in...but an all-too-familiar sight distracts her from seeking out that particular corner.
"Gangle?! Oh wow, it's really you!" She tries to temper her enthusiasm about seeing someone else from the Circus at long last due to the environment, finding a bit of success in doing so. "I was starting to feel like trying to find you guys'd be just about impossible, eheh..."
