I can’t wait for the 3rd party from critical role to have to take fcg to get repaired somewhere and having to explain to the technician that they’ve basically been using fcg as a flask (they’re cool with it but like it’ll be so funny/awkward)
Some highlights of the campaign last night! So my friend Ash plays a dragonborn named Vasira, @tambelon plays a werewolf named Flea, and I play as the little stink man goblin cleric, Popper!
In the first image Popper finally managed to have a bit of a breakthrough with the group barbarian. She’s tough as nails and doesn’t normally initiate talks, but after a rather tough battle the two have a little time to bond in the carriage headed to Alamestria. He manages to get in some personal questions, mentions a little of his past and why he’s not with a goblin tribe, but the main thing here is he makes her laugh. It’s not a belly laugh and it doesn’t last very long, but she huffs out a small laugh at one of his jokes and it manages to fill him with a very deep joy, heehee. And at the end of their solo conversation she even smiles for him! It was a really good moment, definitely my favorite interaction with her so far.
And the second image is a bit stranger to explain, but after a terrifying night with Flea unable to tell if what she saw was a reality, Popper has a sit down with her to see if he can calm her nerves. Unfortunately, he’s not the best with comforting. Or friendship. Or... Social anything, for that matter. But a universal constant is that he loves animals, and he doesn’t want to see her sad. So unsure of what else to do he manages to coax her down to his level and he offers her one of his world famous ear scritches, usually only reserved for his dear Mastiff, Cecilia! And much to his surprise Flea leans right into it and melts, making him once more a very, very happy goblin.
So far he’s really working hard to try and make friends, and I think he’s getting along pretty okay with his team! Let’s just hope they don’t turn and hate him lol.
I really hope Tolv's skin will be okay by the end of the arc. It would be a shame if he lost the last thing Bjorn gave him.
