Yesterday our agendas told us it was George Washington’s birthday. This was overheard-
3rd grade student: Today is George Washington’s birthday? But I thought... what about Christmas... that... no wait... that’s Jesus...
Today one of our math videos didn’t have sound. To make sure it wasn’t my computer or speakers I opened Spotify. “Under Pressure” by Queen and David Bowie came on. It was only the beginning part, the singing didn’t even start, but 3 of my kiddos (9 year olds) whispered, “Queen! It’s Queen!” Such a proud teacher moment!
I’m 3/4 of the way through making 100 sensory brain break craft sticks for my class to use this year.
