PFC Manginelli

My name is Dominick Manginelli, I was born September 27, 1992 in Hackensack NJ. I’ve lived in Dumont my entire life. I graduated from Dumont High school in June 2011. I am the oldest of four children. I have two younger twin brothers and a sister. Growing up I was a very competitive athlete. I played soccer, football, hockey, baseball, basketball, boxing and my best sport was wrestling. I’ve wrestled my entire life. My goal was to be Dumont High Schools best wrestler. My senior year I beat the school record of all time most wins with 104 at the end of my career. I got a full scholarship for wrestling but decided to turn it down for the Marines. I finally joined the Corps in October of 2012. I joined the Marine Reserves, because I wanted to continue my education to become a police officer. I intend to go to Bergen Community College to start my studies in criminal justice. After two years I want to transfer but still undecided on where I want to go. I look forward to more future experiences here with the marine Corps.
