The drag queens from the Jungle nightclub dropping Stiles off at the loft because they saw him on the side of the road when his Jeep broke down. Derek rushing out to see why there are 4 other strange heartbeats with Stiles. He thinks maybe he was followed but when he gets down the stairs he watches in wide-eyed confusion as Stiles is being gushed over by 4 very tall and very sparkly drag queens. The ‘girls’ fussing over his hoodie and telling him he looks handsome and is he sure he wants them to leave him here because it’s depressing looking as all hell. They finally realize Derek is standing there with his mouth open and they suddenly make a wall in front of their favorite little bi disaster mascot. “No! No guys it’s ok. He’s my… friend?” Stiles tries to explain but the queens are eyeing Derek up and down and frowning because he’s older and dressed like a bad boy and Stiles has taken on the roll of their little brother. “What are your intentions with Stiles? Are you trying to be his sugar daddy because if so, we’re going to need less serial killer vibes if you expect us to trust him with you.” Derek lets out a strangled, choked sound in protest and Stiles turns beat red and the girls are crossing their arms and tapping their heels waiting for an explanation.
Patrick Swayze as Vida Boheme, Wesley Snipes as Noxeema Jackson, and John Leguizamo as Chi-Chi Rodriguez (and a special photographic appearance by classic Hollywood icon Julie Newmar, who also makes a cameo later in the movie) in the 1995 Universal Pictures/Beeban Kidron lgbtq+ drag queen comedy-drama To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar. In addition to the 1970s Lynda Carter Wonder Woman reference via the music played during this scene, note the crossed arm nods in gif two (a reference to the 1960s Barbara Eden sitcom I Dream of Jeannie) and the magical nose twitch lamp lighting performed by Leguizamo in gif six (a reference to the 1960s-early 1970s Elizabeth Montgomery sitcom Bewitched). All three television shows are lgbtq+ favorites, with all three of the show's stars being lgbtq+ allies. Both Elizabeth Montgomery and Lynda Carter made notable appearances at gay pride parades, and Barbara has spoken fondly of her numerous gay co-stars, particularly her I Dream of Jeannie co-star Hayden Rourke.
