A 1000Sadako Saskei was 2 year old when she got afflicted by the atom bomb dropped on Hiroshima on 6th August 1945. When she was 12 tears she was dying of Leukemia. Sadako believed that if she folded A 1000 cranes she would live again. But she succumbed to her illness... Sadako gave a new hope in life by her silent non violent resistance to the Atom bomb.
